it's the last day of 2008.

all of 2008 will just be a memory in about an hour and a half. along the months of 2008, i have met and talked to people whom i've never talked to my whole life =P haha.

and i must say 2008 is one hell of a year. at the start, when i found out i was in Bina, to be honest, i wasn't that happy eventhough i did clearly wrote down 4Bina on that paper. oh, yes i wanted that class, but i wanted to be with my gang of girls. too bad i found out 3 of them went in azam, the other 3 went in cekal and i was all alone in Bina.

later did i find out that Bina has brought many great memories and i've learn to mix with other people outside my gang of girls. i've finally been invited to several Hari Raya open houses. =P what? and i must say, BINA ROCKS! haha.

honestly, 2008 had a very bad start, i don't have to say why. things started to pick up after that and the few months in between were full of ups and downs. i've learnt not to blindly trust people. last few months been pretty awesome. and 2008 is ending with a sincere smile from ear to ear plastered on my face. since 2008 is ending great, i just know that 2009 is going to start GREAT. =D

through the whole year, i actually got to know a bit of the business world/ the future. as a sales director of Svian enterprise, i have to say YE has brought such an experience that i advise all you form4s next year to go try it out. even if you do not know a single thing about stock market, just go for it. i'm happy that YE has brought me closer to few people that i know of but don't know that well.

met many people on my trip to china too. A VERY GOOD TRIP okay.

next year will be my last year of high school and i'm prepared for it, bring it on.

this the last time to get it right
we got to show what we're all about
we're together.
this is the last game so make it counted.
it's now or never!

even though there were downs in the year, i would not change anything that happened in the year. i'm proud to say that all this have brought me to be who i am now, a stronger person.

i hope next year this time, i would be writing that 2009 was a really good year =D

this is worth the wake up call at 6.15am.

I do not know why i couldn't sleep well last night. maybe i was nervous for the f3-ers. maybe i was just not tired yet. i eventually fell asleep after rounds of toss and turns. i set my alarm at 6am. i don't know how, the alarm rang and i didn't hear it. gosh, how deep was my sleep man? mom woke me up at 6.15, i had my breakfast and went to school.

since i kindly offered help to PnArina for the big day today, she texted me,asking me to help her. i met her in school and waited for PnTan to come. school had new parking lots and with all the trees cut down, it looks much wider. wonder who asked to cut the trees when we're suppose to " save earth, go green" right.

anyhow, PnTan came and both PnArina and I left in PnTan's car and headed for the jabatan pelajaran entah ape to collect the results! MAN. i got the once in a lifetime chance to go collect the results okay. HAHA.

so we were there early, what? about 7.53am, we parked the car and walked to sit right in front of where we're suppose to collect the results. it's outdoor, just so you know. we looked thru PnTan's file of teachers next year and talked.





the teachers waiting anxiously for the jabatan to open. queing up and all.

PnArina kept saying that she was so nervous and PnTan kept teasing her about being a teacher who's taking PMR this year. butterflies in the stomach. she's WORRIED about you people okay. after like one hour and 15 min of waiting, which was 9.15? ( btw, the jabatan was suppose to open at 8am okay. ), THEY FINALLY OPEN, and we collected the results. once collected, we went to a bench by the side and started counting straight A scorers.

in the car, we double check our work IN THE CAR, might i repeat, counting straight A scorers again. 53! PnTan seemed quite happy, and PnArina sighed a sigh of relief when she asked whether did this student or that student pass Eng or not. when we reached school i could feel some students staring at me while i was holding that envelope that i knew perfectly well that they too know that it contained their PMR result slip. 3 years of studying for this one small rectangular slip.

went up to pejabat, and started my work. counting the number of students that missed out on one A, two As. then typing down the results of every single form three in our school. as all these were going on,

PnGeetha was so happy Dhiren got straight As.

PnSitiZabedah was so happy her son got straight As she cried!

PnTan was so happy, i quote & she said " we all know this batch is not as smart as the previous batch (I KNOW, SHE SAID THAT, MUAHAHA) when we checked their maths results in form two and there were so many failures. and 53 is counted GOOD already for them. i'm so proud of my students. " end quote.

then she add " MATHS DEPARTMENT! we did it! i'm so proud of my teachers! it has the highest A purata of all subjects. " and she cried. awwww.

might i tell you, even PnSaamah was busy calling PnTan every now and then to ask the results because she was worried about you students. haha.

it was busy busy busy in the pejabat when all teachers came in and out asking how did the results go. real havoc =P but i had fun. yeah, i had fun.

then it was time to announce results. since i already knew some people's results, i could feel the dissapointment they're gonna feel in just a few minutes as they waited eagerly for their names to be called and when they said things like " do you think they'd let me go up the stage in this clothes?" and i could feel the JOY for some of them. but i can tell you, i did feel the excitement in the air of the parents of students, students and teachers all gathered up in one junkball surrounding the hall.

So, CONGRATULATIONS
Emily, Rachel, Sarah, Dianne Priya, Sherlina, YVONNE ( she cried yawww=P ), Lim Zheng Yi, Thanuja, Suganya, Fatin, Subashini

ala. as long as you're one of the 53 that got straight As in my school. CONGRATULATIONS!

after a whole day of hardwork, it's time to settle down, liy x2 and divya came over to " do homework ". yeah right. all we did was watch bridge to terabithia half only, wild child and little manhattan. we lazy asses did not write a single word at all. HEH.

so i'm looking forward to a good nights rest tonight. and maybe, just maybe, i'd try to tune my clock right again. before i go to school NEXT WEEK.

tomorrow's new years eve. where's the plan that doesn't involve going to town? HAHA.

for all you who are gonna receive your PMR results tomorrow.

i remembered last year, my own year.
i can't recall whether i slept well the night before, but somehow i THINK i did. the next morning, i put on my prefect uniform and went to school. i couldn't really remember what i did while everyone were waiting for the results but i know when we were told to line up according to our classes, my friends and i took some pictures. WHAT? it might calm down nerves, i think.

last year they announced we had what, 47/50? straight A scorers. and they announced class by class. SO they had to start with 3Azam first. Azam is a smart class, so there're many straight A scorers from there. we felt the chances of getting straight As slowly going away. seriously, do they have to announce it? sorry ah.

after their names were announced, students went up the stage with big grins while the rest waited anxiously, sweating. eew.

so then came Bina class. all i remembered, they called Edna. Edna's an E, so of course her name is all the way on top on our class list lah right. so i expected a few more names and then to get ready to FEEL scared, haha.

then they called, " Siu Wern! "

honestly, the first thing that came to my mind was wth? all the people in our class list from Edna to me, which was all the way down cos i'm a T, didn't get straight As? Then only it occured to me that i was one of the straight A scorers, YAAAY! and i went up the stage, hugged Edna and all.

i remembered that my brother was in Sgpore, and he called my mom to ask me for results too. =D and i got straight As babe, straight As! my mom was so happy for me, she let out tears of bangga for me.

right now, i'd like to thank everyone who helped me.
and right now, i'd like to wish all of you GOOD LUCK for tomorrow. see me there!

i shall let you know, PnArina asked me to help her with the results tomorrow.
i'd be one of the first few people to know your results! MUAHAHAHA.

i've been requested to blog about the John&Jerry's Christmas party.

so, the house is DAMN big. there were many people. DELICIOUS food. and a karaoke set.
the children invited their own friends to go, so basically Melissa, John, Monica & Jerry were busy entertaining their friends. i hardly spoke to them other than a " Merry Christmas! "



soooo, yeah. pretty much did nothing other than eat and smile. haha.

so i'll skip a few days since i basically did nothing on the rest of the days. and reach Saturday.

after ballet, i went for Suzanne's xmas party.

Ranjali, Edna, JuYi, BoonAun, Samuel and Kuhan were already there.

we talked, eat, played cards and laughed like crazy people.



after party, JuYi, Divya and I went to Liyana's house for a sleepover. we were suppose to finish some ICT project thing and do our holiday homework. yes, that plan worked well eh. haha.

we had a new vocab -

this morning, Liy&I did chem. while Div used the comp.

LOOK LOOK who made it into Azam next year =D i've gotten what i wanted.
a Christmas present from the school? haha.


maybe i don't know how to explain why i want to be in Azam. but it definitely includes pressure from smart people that are gonna surround me in class next year and PnTan teaching Physics. yes, and i might finally like Physics. MIGHT.


it's the last year of high school and it's SPM year. so, i've got to make my whole year count. and what helps more with some pretty fun and "studious" classmates? =D next year's gonna kick ass man!


we, f5-ers are gonna rule the school next year. no more being a junior. although i can still easily pass off as a F1 HAHA.


5AZAM, people! i made it! haha. let's just hope the school won't change my class again next year.


although i have to admit, some other classes are gonna have a tad bit too much drama next year. let's see how everyone survives.

it's a few days to Christmas and every shopping mall you go, you'd definitely hear Christmas songs playing on the radio.


they're showing Christmas related movies, playing Christmas carols on radios and eventhou i don't celebrate Christmas, i'm getting into the Christmas mood. haha.

i still remember back then when i was younger. i was one of the kids that believed in Santa. haha. mom always asked my brother and i to write our Christmas wishes on a paper and give it to her and she'd pass it to Santa. Yeeeeah right.

i remembered once, at night, i was writing my Christmas wish. i wanted a pretty Barbie Doll. so i asked my brother " how do you spell pretty? " and being a smart but annoying and naughty kid, he purposely told me that its P-R-E-E-T-Y. and i being very dumb at a very young age, wrote exactly as he said. haha. i don't know how i found out that it was the wrong spelling, but thank goodness i did.


so on Christmas eve, i remember my brother and i tried to stay up to see Santa Clause. but come to think of it, i don't know why we did. i thought Santa only goes in thru the chimney? =P and Santa'd get lost in Msia, there's no chimney! haha. but we always fail to stay up late. i know i failed to stay up late.


on Christmas day, we'd be so excited running downstairs to look for our presents. sometimes my parents would put it by the plant in my house, or the decoration thing at the side or sometimes the presents would be in our own rooms. it was really really exciting for my brother and i. we'd be soooo happy to get our presents or even to look for our presents everywhere.


that was all in the younger days. how cute we were. haha. why didn't i even think to buy my parents stuff, i don't know. =P but yes, now i'm repaying them. their 21st anniversary was yesterday and i surprised them with a photo frame saying " mom & dad " with their picture inside. how nice. they were REALLY surprised, apparently. they didn't expect anything.


i have no idea how i found out Santa Clause wasn't real though. haha.

okay, i finally found enough semangat to blog about my trip to Shanghai, Beijing and Hang Zhou. these are the very few memorable events that i remembered for the sake of blogging.


  1. SOMEBODY DROPPED (if i'm not wrong) 100yuan converted RM50 ON THE FLOOR.

    okay i admit. i'm not observant. someone could drop RM100 by the road side and there's a 60-40 chance that i wouldn't notice it. not a single glance. so what happened was, some dude dropped 100yuan. my dad noticed and shouted " hey! " to the guy. so that's when i looked at where my dad was. and that's when i saw. A LADY just walked to the 100yuan, picked it up and shoved it into her front pocket.

    i even gave her that how-ridiculous-you-are glance but she just gave me the like-i-bother attitude. i mean okay lah, if you notice a note on the floor and you don't know who dropped it, and you pick it up, it's okay. but there're witnesses around you who actually saw the 100yuan first, mind you and you know perfectly well someone dropped it the least you could do was not shove the 100 yuan in front of everyone. haha. i don't know lah, my thinking kan.
  2. A young girl begging my mom for money.

    she was with her mom. and my mom was eating chestnut while walking. she came to my mom made noises and pointed at the bag of chestnut. my mom just gave her the chestnut. she took it with her quite dirty hands and she didn't stop making noises. my mom wanted to walk away but she kept following my mom. SCARY aint it. haha.

  3. 50 cents tip OMG?!

    50cents in China is a note. but the note's mandarin. and my dad doesn't know mandarin. so all he see's a number FIVE there. so it could easily be 5yuan right. so he wanted to tip a bellboy with 50cents! the bellboy refused the money. and later did my dad found out it was 50 cents when he wanted to pay for something else we bought. HAHA. memalukan. tipping people with 50cents.
  4. somebody reading my msn behind me.

    like, i know right? stalker?
    there were three public computer in the hotel lobby area. so all three were occupied and i was using one. this Indian dude from India, i suppose wanted to use the computer. he stood behind me and was OBVIOUSLY reading whatever i was typing thru MSN to liyana. and OMG coincidentally, i was talking about HIM to liyana. like omg. he read and he told his friends about it. i was like OMG but i pretended not to hear. and he said to me " sorry ah madame ". like erm? yeah? then he asked me " are you gonna use the comp for long? " and I being the oh-so-good person that i am, i gave in to him HAHA.
  5. MeiLi.

    Mei li in mandarin is pretty/ beautiful. so the tea factory is owned by Mei family. and a tour group member, Mr. Goh, went like " oh you're mei? my surname is... * turns to look at his wife * errrr, Lee. yes, lee. so when we're together it's like Mei Li. "
  6. we're all a family.

    more discount if we're family and buy more tea. or so it seems. so we all claimed we were all related. kan only four families in the tour anyway. so we said we're like brothers and long long brother in laws family. haha. the salesperson didn't believe us, don't worry.
  7. WEIRDEST COINCIDENCE: having a Noel, a John and a Jeremiah (jerry) in the tour group.

    four families. all ade teenagers. in restaurants we only occupy two tables. 10 and 9 people each. this tour group members, i swear are the best so far. they're really nice and friendly. and i have new friends! haha.

    the guy on my right is Noel. the one shuffling the cards is John and the top one is Jeremiah. cute riiight. the girl next to me is Melissa.

  9. i climbed 382 steps at the great wall.

    what? i'm not the only one that counted. haha.

i reached this top okay. don't play play. it's winter. snowing and slippery. and not to mention steep.

i've had enough of convincing people to go. already 2 failed. apparently my persuasive skills are not working hard enough. haha.

and when i say " it's okay. " means it's okay, no sarcasm there. what else should i say when you already give all the excuses to not go?

and some say " yeah i'm going. " a few minutes ago, just told me they can't. change of plans.
with proper reasons, yeah sure, i don't mind.

and some ask " why pick so far? "
DUH. why else would you go to sunway?

out of 6 close friends, only TWO are going. wth man.
NO. make that ONE. one just last minute can't go.
two, parents don't let. one sick. the other one i'm not really sure.

but anyhooo, i'm still looking forward to the outing tomorrow. =D

yesterday, instead of joining Divya and gang in pav, i went to Times Square with mun yee, eunice, inez, jia li, noel, chia, john, jeremy. woot, youngest in the whole group kowt.

Twilight was okay compared to the book. though a few of them said it was boring and the rest said nice. the funny part in the whole movie was when Mun Yee shouted comments out to the movie like " kiss already lah! omg. so slow. " " eh, what happened? "

and jacob's not that cute =(

and then there was the time where we took LRT at the rush hour. we missed about 4 trains. i didn't even have to walk into the train! people at the back were pushing us in. and we were sooooooo SQUASHED inside the lrt. body odour, sweat. even worse, all of us manage to get into the train except inez! haha.

i'm proud to announce that i finish Bio homework, the objective questions. yes although it consists of only 25 ABCD questions, i took a while to complete it. why?
  1. i clearly wasn't paying attention.
  2. i kept thinking about other things.
  3. i travelled to the kitchen several times as an excuse for food & drinks.
  4. clearly after the year end exams, all these info i studied slowly slipped out of my brains therefore i had to flick thru my reference book searching for answers.

sue me, i'm stupid. i can't even confirm all my answers now. it's a big deal i finished this considering the fact that we are all in a holiday mood and i'm a bit too lazy to use my brains AND at least i tried doing my work. i kept thinking about this Friday's outing. apparently i can't wait for it. every single nerve in my body give me the thrills everytime i think about it. haha.

So last week Thursday, the F5-ers had a FREEDOM party to celebrate freedom from SPM. and i went. =D yes, i'm not even in f5 and i went to celebrate. i want to feel the feeling of freedom they're spreading right after SPM so that i can aim for that and work hard next year to feel it.
omg, whatever SiuWern. get a life.

we broke so many rules in the pool.

  1. we went in with clothes not swimming costumes.
  2. we brought food into the pool.
  3. and we jumped into the pool. dive, flips. yeaaah.

who cares? =D we had complaints from the residence that we were noisy. so we had to control our screams. haha.

The next morning, Divya, Liyana, JuYi came over for a movie marathon. it was a whole day of laziness and food and watching movies.
personal pizza only consists of only four slices, everybody. take note. HAHAHA. inside joke.

on Saturday, my family and i had a birthday lunch for me in Westin Hotel.
